More new things!

Last weekend, Abbey met another set of great grandparents for the first time! Grandpa and Granna Laura Jackson came all the way from Corpus Christi to meet Abbey, and they agreed that Abbey was a keeper. We certainly think so!

Trying new things...

Since Abbey is about to hit the five month mark, we decided it was a good time for her to try eating solid foods. The only problem was, Abbey wasn't really on board with that plan! Here's how that went...

Save me, Daddy!

Mommy, what are you doing to me?

The other new thing we did was play dress up! I bought Abbey a purple butterfly ballerina costume, and from the looks of things, she thought it was delicious!

Sweet girl

This tulle is nice and crunchy!

Who, me?

It's an Abbey-fly!

Abbey was a rolling stone...

We finally caught Abbey rolling over on video! Our little baby is growing up so fast! Pretty soon, she'll be crawling, sitting up, and eating solid foods...watch out, world!

Here are some more pictures...enjoy!

The Many Faces of Abbey

We have lots of new pictures to post, starting with Abbey's first Superbowl! Go Giants!

The Giants Won?!

Hi, Daddy :)

Happy family

Mommy and Abbey

Is the game almost over, Mommy?

It's over for me...

These next pictures are, as the title indicates, the many faces of Abbey. And for you music fans, yes, she is wearing a Decemberists onesie that Daddy got her for Christmas!

What's going on?

Oh, no!

What?!

That's pretty funny!

Well...kind of funny...

Let me think about that...

Mmm...this new toy from Granna is delicious!

This is a picture of Abbeys' Square One friends. As you can tell, it was taken several weeks ago!

From the left, we have Knighton, Abbey, Chapman, and Eleanor. Abbey is the "baby" of the group, hence the leaning over :)

I'm not sure about this Jumperoo, Mom and Dad.

I'm getting the hang of it! Thanks for the phone book, Pops!

Hi, Mommy :)

Jackson Look-alike Meter

It's official! Abbey looks 50% like me, and 50% like Chris, which makes her 100% our baby!

I have the cutest baby girl!

I have a couple of pictures to post, and no new news...just that I have the cutest baby girl in the world!

A picture of Abbey I took with my phone

I'm still waiting on some more Christmas pictures before I post a full Christmas picture blog, so hang on for just a little while longer, and I'll try to post as many pictures as possible (DENNIS) to tide you over :)

Christmas and New Year's

Hello! It's been a while, and I've gotten several complaints and questions, so here's an impromptu update...pictures to come!

Christmas was definitely a new experience this year now that we have a baby. Abbey and I went down to Houston a week before Christmas, and ended up staying for two weeks! Chris met us down there a few days after we arrived.

She had lots of fun playing with two of her cousins, Sidney and Joe, and can't wait to meet the rest of them ASAP! Abbey got the usual amount (TONS) of toys to play with at Christmas, but the real surprise came New Year's Day...she rolled over for the first time! On the first day of the year! Chris and I weren't there to see it, but you can believe we got a phone call early in the morning when it happened! Ok...maybe it was more like mid-morning or early afternoon :) We were quite the proud parents, but we did immediately go back to sleep after we got the call!

We have yet to see this new trick of Abbey's, so I'm not quite sure I believe you, Mom and Dad! As soon as I have pictures of Christmas, I'll upload them, but here are a few to tide you over until then...these pictures link to another website, so click on them to see them enlarged. Enjoy!
