A Very Merry Un-birthday....and a happy Easter too!

Abbey had a very busy weekend. She turned six months old and had her first Stagecoach Inn all in a few days! Mommy and Daddy are exhausted from all of the shopping, eating, and picture taking...not to mention the sleeplessness, stuffy noses, and trying to keep Abbey from "serenading" everyone at dinner!! One down...

Abbey's first Easter!

On the eve of Abbey's first trip to Stagecoach Inn, we have some new things to report! Not only is she eating baby oatmeal now, she has two teeth to eat it with! She's also not using the swaddler to sleep anymore...that was SO last week. Earlier today, she got her first Easter picture taken, and she was a hit! Everyone was talking about the "little bunny" getting her picture made. She is most excited to go down to Salado and play with Carson again, though. She's been wanting to play with him since our shopping trip. One more day!

More new things!

Last weekend, Abbey met another set of great grandparents for the first time! Grandpa and Granna Laura Jackson came all the way from Corpus Christi to meet Abbey, and they agreed that Abbey was a keeper. We certainly think so!

Since Abbey is about to hit the five month mark, we decided it was a good time for her to try eating solid foods. The only problem was, Abbey wasn't really on board with that plan! Here's how that went...

The other new thing we did was play dress up! I bought Abbey a purple butterfly ballerina costume, and from the looks of things, she thought it was delicious!
